Balancing Ballerina

Blazer-J. Crew, Dress-Nasty Gal, Belt-Forever 21, Socks- American Apparel, Wedges-Topshop, Bangles-H&M, Ring-Free People, Earrings-H&M, Necklace-Random
I am in love, no wait, I am obsessed with my Topshop wedges! They are so me! I love that they are tall, pretty and a little mummy-esque! They make me feel like a ballerina on stilts. I have to say they are rather comfy too! I plan to wear them with bare legs soon, but it is a little chilly out!
I can't wait for this weekend! My friend is letting us stay at her place in Mill Valley (a little town outside of San Francisco) and we plan to eat at our favorite place by the water Sam's and go wine tasting. Then on Sunday I am going to see "Sex and the City 2" with my girlfriends! Sounds like a great weekend to me!
I hope you all have a great one!
Don't forget to enter the GIVEAWAY this weekend!

Funky, Fresh, Floral

Top- gifted by City of Dolls, Shorts- Vintage Levis, Shoes-Urban Outfitters, Swimsuit- H&M, Headband (scarf)-gifted by LA Vintage, Sunglasses-Nasty Gal, Watch-Michael Kors, Bangle-Vintage Monet, Ring-Forever 21
There is something about funky fresh floral that attracts me (examples here and here). I didn't truly realize this until I was getting dressed for a sunny day and grabbed my floral sneakers and then grabbed my floral sunglasses. Some may argue it is a little much, but I find them fun and refreshing! I was even more excited to find a package from City of  Dolls at my doorstep and I must say this tee was the perfect piece to wear over my swimsuit. I love the cut out sleeves! What is something that you all love even if it's a little funky?
Also, did you notice my new sponsors Moonshine Hill and A Box for My Treasure? Head over to their sites for some fabulous vintage and pretty jewelry.

The Unexpected Tourists

A few weekends ago we decided to head over to Capitola for a nice day in the sun. Unfortunately, on Sunday it was overcast and cold and kept us from enjoying our much anticipated beach time. Instead of heading home we decided to act like tourists and explore some of our favorite spots. Even in the gloomy weather are days were brightened by the beauty of a historic wharf, colorful beach houses and yummy salt water taffy.

The Perfect Find

Blazer-J. Crew, Blouse & Skit-H&M, Boots-Seychelles, Ring-Forever 21
I have been on the hunt for the perfect cream blazer. I have been extra picky on the cut, fabric and shade. On a recent excursion to J. Crew I came across one that was everything I had been hoping for. It fits like a glove and is super soft. What I love most is how versatile it is. I can't wait to wear this with a loose white t-shirt, skinny jeans and leather ballet flats or a gray dress and a pair of nude heels for work.
What is something you are on the hunt for?

H&M; Style Eye: Summer Style

If you have been checking out my Facebook page you have seen our latest and last video for the H&M Style Eye. In this edition we are shopping at the H&M showroom in Soho and we got to pick out something from their preview. I had so much fun filming these with Jesse and Lauren. I wish we were there right now!
I am looking forward to a weekend of laughter, relaxation, BBQ food, and the smell of the ocean as we eat at our friends beach house (here). I am so proud of my boyfriend for all his hard work in Crossfit and he is one  school day away from completing his Masters Degree. He is such a hard worker and I admire his dedication. We are going to do a little celebrating this weekend and I hope you all do too!

Wooden Stilts

Blazer-Forever 21, Jumper& Bag-H&M, Socks-J.Crew, Shoes-Steve Madden, Watch-Micheal Kors, Necklaces-House of Harlow and H&M
I love wearing cute and flirty romper during the spring and they are perfect for the transition to a sweltering summer. These sweet one pieces can be worn so many ways. I love to wear mine with long cardigans and high socks or like here with a cute blazer. However, if I had to run to a more formal event I could easily throw on a pair of trousers and a cropped jacket and turn it into a top! My Steve Madden clogs are my new favorite item, they were definitely worth the wait.
I also had to share with you my Breakfast at Tiffany eye mask. I love slipping it on and feeling oh so Holy Golightly. She truly embodied a glamorous and confident attitude when no one was watching.
If you have a question about blogging, style, or want to see something on the blog comment on my new Facebook page. Thanks!

A Hint of Red

Jacket-gifted by LA Vintage, Dress-H&M, Shoes-Aldo, Clutch-H&M, Jewelry- H&M and Forever 21
I love the 1920s. When I turned 26 I had a 1920 themed birthday party. Most of my friends thought I was weird, but I just fell in love with the glamor of the era. Of course, I love anything that reminds me of the 20s, this dress was the perfect mix of glamor and comfort. I love any occasion to get gussied up and this last weekend we went to my girlfriend's birthday party. I was thrilled to receive this amazing vintage trench coat with red lining from LA Vintage. Now all I need are some Louboutins to go with it!
I have been spending a little too much lately. So, I am going to try to come up with some creative fresh takes on clothes that are in my closet. Plus, I have some fun posts I am working on for next week! I created a Facebook page. It is a work in progress. If you are on FB  check it out!
I am selling some of my goodies for a limited time HERE
Also, head over to Sugar Darling Vintage and take advantage of their sale that runs till May 30th. They will be on a summer break and won't accept sales after that till August. So, catch them while you can!

The Must Haves

I thought you may like a peek at a few of my beauty essentials. I may talk a lot about fashion, but I am a beauty product junkie. You name it I'll try it. Here are a few that I can't live without.

1. Aquaphor I can't live without my Aquaphor. I use this on everything from cuts, burns, dry skin and sometimes to smooth down my fizzy split ends when I am away from home.
2. Laura Mercier Secret Coneclear (#3)  This concealer works wonders on my dark circles and it is a great thick consistency, but doesn't get too cakey.
3. Smashbox Photo Up Under Eye Brightener I tend to get dry and look like I need a pick me up around 2 pm. This under eye illuminator helps keep me looking fresh and dewy.
4. Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara If you want those long and thick lashes like I do then this is a great affordable option. I just bought this and I feel like it looks like I am wearing false eye lashes.
5. Mac Blush Creme (Posey) This soft pink color is creamy and lasts. I love the way it gives my cheeks a warm glow.
6. Nars Lipstick (Schiap). I am obsessed with a bright pink lip. I always try a billion different brands to find the perfect shade. Last year I found "Schiap" from Nars and I have been using it ever since. It is the best for a fun bold lip.
7. Kiss My Face Lip Balm I never leave ANYWHERE without my chapstick. If you ever meet me you will see I apply it every twenty minutes. Saying I am addicted is an understatement. I love the this tropical and sweet flavor. It makes me feel like I am on the beach in Hawaii.
8. Renne Furterer Leave in Conditoner I was blessed with this unruly thick frizzy hair. Luckily there are products like this to help me keep it soft and manageable.
9. Lancome Star Bronzer Poudre Soleil  I love looking like I have been kissed by the sun. This sheer and light bronzing powder gives me that tanned look without the harmful UV rays.

Seaside Sequins

Tank-J. Crew, Pants-Uniqlo, Belt-Zara, Flats-Urban Outfitters, Handbag-Marc by Marc Jacobs, Watch-Marc Jacobs, Bangle-Vintage
It's funny that twenty minutes from home you can find yourself in what feels like another world. Every time my boyfriend and I head over to Santa Cruz on a sunny afternoon we ask ourselves why we don't do it all the time. The sunlight sparkled against the ocean's waves and to my delight against my sequin tank.
This last week has been full of date nights. While beach side we wine tasted at some local wineries and had a delicious dinner. All together a pretty prefect evening.
Also, thank you to Katarzyna for me new header!
