When preparing my wardrobe for this fall I can't help but look back at Zara's FW 06. Even though this collection is four years old it still feels still relevant and stylish. As I get older I notice that minimal clean tailoring is becoming more and more attractive to me. I want to look hip, but polished. I love the chic menswear inspired suit and the long romantic maxi dresses. Now if only I could be prancing around Paris with my man and a beautiful fall wardrobe. A girl can dream, right?

Heading back today from Virginia and I can't wait to crawl into my pj's and cuddle on the couch with a blanket, a book and my man! It has been a long week and coming home is always such a treat.

It's like style without looking like you are trying too hard.

Isn't spending time with your significant other just so damn comforting especially after you've been apart? le sigh!

I'm noticing this about myself too - clean lines, tailored properly, but im also steering away from brights and colors.

I love these pics. The clothes are classic so while I was scrolling I had no idea they were from '06. It makes me miss Paris oh so much!! The last pic is my favorite. There really is nothing better in life than sitting in a Parisian cafe, sipping espresso, people watching (especially in a fabulous outfit!)

It is actually amazing that these photos are that "old". I think it shows how the fashion cycles are getting even smaller! It used be about 7 years now it feels like half that. I too, wish I was with my man cruising the streets of Paris. Enjoy your cozy time in your PJs.

No way, these pictures are 4 years old? That's actually a great idea to look back and see collections even if they are only a few years old. That's why it's always smart to splurge on classic items and save on trendy ones. I bet if I bought one of the pieces featured in this collection like the tuxedo button down 4 years ago, I'd still be wearing it!
