Skirt&Sweater-Forever 21, Shoes-Zara (worn here and here), Handbag-vintage, Sunglasses-Karen Walker (seen here), Ring-YSL, Necklace-Need Supply, Bangle-H&M

I was surprised when a heat wave hit our city this weekend making it  feel like the middle of summer. I really wanted to wear long knits and scarfs, but that was out of the question. The warm weather will probably stick around for a while and that isn't something to complain about. Luckily, my new maxi skirt from Forever21 is light and airy and kept me cool even in the heat. I love the soft brown color and decided on a gray top to keep the outfit neutral and feeling a little more fall.

I'm usually pretty iffy on maxi skirts, even more so with a loose blouson-style top...But whoa, you just proved me wrong! Bravo for trying on shapes and proportions not regularly seen!

Cool pictures, Taylor! I agree, fall is very far away. It is supposed to be 100 degrees in LG today! That is just insane. I am longing for my comfy scarves, but am settling for a skirt today.

This is amazing from head to toe! It reminds me of a look down the Michael Kors runway. Casual chic! I remember seeing that skirt at the Forever 21 in New York earlier this summer and was about to get it, but then didn't because my suitcase was already overloaded. Now I wish I snagged it. Okay, I think this is my favorite look of yours so far! LOVE LOVE!

This has to be one of my favourite outfit posts so far. Adore the length of the skirt and the swishy, floaty texture, they're perfect for warm and barmy weather. Jealous of your heat wave whilst our temperatures seem to have plummeted and it truly feels like Autumn this week.
Again I love love love those sunnies!

I love your look though!

I love the flow in this. You carry off wearing so much fabric really well. I either look like I'm drowning in fabric or like I'm chubbs.

What beautiful photos! I'm dying over your vintage bag and love the color of that maxi skirt. I just bought one in black, but I might need this color too. It's been sweltering here as well and I'm not complaining since we never really had a summer this year. Of course the hottest day was a Monday when I was stuck at work and dreaming of being at the beach.

This has to be a favorite. A long skirted look doesn't always turn out well. Always being matched with something that turns it unflattering, but this is very elegant in a casual thought. The bangle and shades... Oh those tortoise thick shades are my favorite...

Thanks for being a part of my google home page feed :)
