{morning hike}
My long weekend was exactly what I needed, the only thing that would have made it better would have been if my boyfriend had been home. However, since he went for a golfing trip with his guy friends I decided to spend time making our home pretty, hanging with my girls, admiring small pleasures, and working on my fitness (I always hear Fergie singing this when I say it)! I think morning hikes may be my new favorite thing. What did you do for the holiday weekend?
Have you entered the Thread Sence giveaway yet?
Also, head over to my FACEBOOK and write down 3 fitness goals. You may get chosen for a blog feature.

My boyfriend and I went on a long hike this weekend as well. There is nothing better than the sun peaking over the mountains and not a sound to disturb your peace. Although occasionally I ruined it with my heavy breathing, HA.

Wish you were coming to NYFW!

Taylor, the trunk behind you in your self portriat, reminds me of mine! I Love it! I am currently trying to find little accents to put on top of it to make it look pretty and tie the look together.

Seriously bad-ass picture in the bottom! Also, any photography advice on how you get your shots? I'm also a Nikon user and am slowly dabbling in using it to liven up my blog (oh yeah, and capture memories), and am eager to learn more!

I'm in love with that kimono. I actually just got a vintage bed jacket today, that's almost reminiscent of the Winter Kate line. But yours is absolutely magnificent. I like the colors in it.

Looks lovely and really fun -- sometimes a girl needs a good, ol' fashioned, girly weekend to re-energize!

Sounds like you had a lovely weekend. I agree morning hikes are definitely a great way to get your endorphins and blood pumping for the day.

Great photo at the end, despite doing dance classes since I was 3 I have never quite mastered that jump!
