The Style File

There is so much inspiration in street style blogs (here and here). I love seeing how real women dress and style pieces. I  am constantly browsing the web and saving all my favorite looks into a file on my desktop called the "The Style File". Here are a few of the looks that I have been drooling over.

After gathering styles I admire I create a "wish list" (like here and here) after feeling inspired. This list is full of items that I am either going to buy or would love to own. Right now my list is overflowing with chic flannels, a camel cape, anything army green, leather skirts & shorts, Alexander Wang bags, Straw Hat, vintage satchel, trousers, and suede ankle booties (just to name a few).

What are your favorite street style blogs or where do you find style inspiration?

I totally have the army jacket + black lace dress in my inspiration folder too, but looking at these images many of these will have to go and give her company! :)
Lately I love browsing lookbook for inspiration!

I think scrapbook andy is one of my favorite style bloggers. I think she is just adorable and I love that some of the things she wears most people wouldn't even think to try, and somehow she always manages to look amazing. :)

OH my goodness the inspiration just overflows on the internet! tumblr, blogs, other blogs blogging about blogs, and all the fashion sites... it's overwhelming. That's such a good idea though, the "style file" and I do something similar to what chictopia has for certain outfits, like tagging items that I want or am inspired by and want to get something similar of!

Right now - all I want is FALL. ha

fade to black- i love love love it! all these images look gorgeous too though (:

That's exactly what I do too, whenever the season changes! The funny thing is that some of the items I was going to get this fall are already in my wardrobe, they've actually been there for years... :o) Seems like I'm not going to spend much!
I just love your choices!

i love the street style shots, BUT i get kind of hmm whats the word - sad? yes they're real women, but usually also really skinny women. i wanna see more body shapes similar to mine in outfits.

Totally digging those trousers. I often struggle with street style blogs and finding styles that would work on me, someone with curves.

Love this! I find inspiration at all the blogs I visit. I keep a folder on my computer and then in that folder there is a folder for any blogger where I like their look, even if its just 1 so I know exactly where it came from :)

Michelle,

I feel the same way! We need more fit and curvy women in street style images. Maybe I can find some inspiration to share!
I usually look to Jessica Biel when wanting to see how a more muscular girl styles her clothes. so
