I know, I know. I am not even engaged, but I read a lot of amazing blogs and can't help but get inspired by the everyone's fabulous weddings. I have always been so career driven, but as I mature, I start to daydream about making my big day fun and memorable. It's a day to celebrate your love and I plan to do it in style.

Feeling inspired by: Ban.do hair pieces, snow cones, take home ice cream, photo booths, color, Rifle wedding announcements, anything by The Flashdance team, tasty treats, a french macaroon cake, flowing dresses with tangerine heels, Sarah Seven dresses, and feminine details.

1, 2, 3, and 4: 100 Layer Cake-Ashley & Sean wedding 4,5, 6: Our Blog of Love-Max&Margaux 7: Cherry Blossom Girl   8: This is Glamorous 9: Sarah Seven 10: Style Me Pretty

Pretty pictures but after seeing lots of friends planning to get married or start a family too young they always end in disaster and break up.

Not for me for a long time.

These pics are great!! The best part is a lot of the decor looks so easy to self make. Weddings are so ridiculously expensive these days, it seems so hard to have the "perfect" day and not go into life long debt. I am not officially engaged yet, but it's been a topic of discussion lately (considering he's going to Iraq in January) that we will do it in 2012 but just talking to people and hearing things like... 30k...!?!? That's like a down payment on a house!! I don't wanna do it if I can't do it in style, but these pics are really inspirational!!

I love the idea of using fun-colored, non-white shoes! I think it adds a cute personal touch to the white gown. It's been on my (way-in-the-future) wedding list, too :D

I love your wishlist!!! And as someone who got married way before blogging was even invented (I am only 27 but you get the idea), I am sooooooo bummed that I didn't have the awesome resource that blogging is. This and your amazing sense of style will for surely make the most memorable wedding ever.

Photo booths at weddings are so fun! They really capture the special moments and very fun for guests. I also agree with fun treats like snow cones. I was at a wedding that had a hot dog cart at the end of the night. It was awesome.

Maybe we should just marry each other, because this is basically my same wedding daydream too. And my boyfriend hasn't asked me yet, so I'm definitely available. PS: I'm a great cook.

Beautiful pictures! Jamie has right what she wrote. My wedding will be very little without big party beacuse my mother died some years ago and if she can't see it, wedding is not so important.

Ohhh my goddd! I have wedding blog fever too. I've been looking at them for weeks now even though I'm only 18 and no where near being engaged! I just love them so much. I'm happy someone understands:)

You have wonderful ideas for your wedding someday. I think us girls everywhere dream of our big day. :)

Lainey said...

Yeah, I'm married already and I still constantly get inspired by wedding blogs. It's just that my husband and I didn't have the big shabang wedding that every girl dreams of. We will at some point when we have more money, but as of right now-all I can do is long for the amount of planning it's gonna take for me to produce my idea of a great wedding.

Im in the exact same predicament. I ogle over these blogs but nowhere near getting married. Then I go and watch Say yes to the dress and it does the exact opposite, I never realized how scary that show makes weddings seem

I read wedding magazines way before I ever met my husband. Us girls need to be prepared! One of my wedding favorites was having our guest clip one of their photos from the photo booth, affix it to a cute card and offer us their "best piece of advice." So silly and fun!

What great inspiration! I remember when I was planning my wedding - I had a whole binder filled with pics like that! :)

I like your wedding style Taylor - very playful, whimsical, and fun! I just went to a wedding and they had a "candy bar" set up, with lots of treats, and goody bags with customized stickers on them. I love the idea of a photo booth too. Ahhh, to be engaged :)

Im always daydreaming of my wedding!! I know I want a vintage dress that isnt white. Something off white and my shoes will be some pop of color.

What gorgeous photos! What girl can't help but think about the perfect wedding? Its so fun! Have you ever watched Say Yes to The Dress, its a guilty pleasure of mine---if you like wedding dresses then you'll love this show! Also, just saw pics of Carey Underwoods wedding, she looked gorgeous and it was a beautiful set up, only thing I wasn't such a fan was the tiara. Don't really get that.
