{First pic: Taylor in Parker, Alicia in Parker, Jessie in Zara}

We celebrated the Glitter Guide launch party last night at the fabulous Luna Boutique in San Francisco! The crowd was amazing and super stylish! There were bold colors, dazzling jewelry, and show-stopping sequins. Thank you to Gilty City SF and Tumblr for hosting!

Thank you:
Erin from Bustle Events for making the party pretty.
Sorrelli, gla.MAR.ous, Birchbox, and Tumblr for our fun gift bags.
Small Girls, Big Business and Caitlin for majorly helping with the party.

Snapshots {Balance}

These last few weeks have been insane (in a good way). Juggling Glitter Guide and Sterling Style is harder than I thought, but both websites are so important to me! The trickiest part is finding balance and remembering to do things that I love and make me happy. I'm a workaholic and could easily lock myself in the office for the entire day and into the night. But I know that to live a balanced life I have to focus on things outside of work. Here is a look at a few things that have helped me get through the busy days:

A new hairdo/ spending time in my parents backyard/ sporting a huge pink cotton candy colored watch from Kyboe USA/ snacking on healthy fresh fruit/ admiring my sequin dress for the Glitter Guide launch party/ figuring out how to assemble my new Star Projector/ Writing thank you cards (Kate Spade)/ slipping into my Nike Frees for a workout

Pop

Cardigan & Dress- Forever 21, Shoes-c/o Lulu's, Clutch-c/o Curly in the City, Watch-Michael Kors, Bracelet-Forever21

I've been very attracted to the color nude these past few weeks. Yesterday, I shared my favorite nude pumps and today my favorite nude wedges paired with a similar colored dress. However, I still like to add pops of color with an orange clutch and with glittery blue nail polish. It gives it an element of fun and I'm all about that!

Hot Summer Day

Top-c/o Hallelu (seen here), Skirt-c/o Tilly Boutique, Shoes-Forever 21, Handbag-Rebecca Minkoff c/o Stefani Bags, Sunglasses-Ray-Ban, Ring-Forever 21 (seen here)

When the heat sets in my inner hippie comes out. I get this irresistible urge to dress in light layers, crochet, and turquoise jewelry. I've been looking for the right top to wear with this skirt for months and when Hallelu sent me this little cropped number it was the perfect match. I wore it on a delightful stroll downtown to listen to Music in the Park.

Bicyclette June Lookbook

I'm smitten with my sponsor Bicyclette's June Lookbook Take 1! It's fun, feminine and whimsical. I'm particularly attracted to the yellow skirt paired with a white lace top--such a pretty combination for a summer picnic. It's an honor to partnered with a brand that fits my aesthetic so perfectly. Plus, Bicyclette features some of my other favorite brands like jewelry from Lauren Elan (another amazing Sterling Style sponsor) and utterly chic totes by Field Guided!

Summer Outfit {Poolside}

This is my ideal outfit for hanging with friends by the pool: a light weight button up, cut off denim shorts, sparkly sandals, and neon accents. Add cool sunnies, an edgie bracelet and the sweet smell of orange peel and I'm ready to devour a stack of magazines and drink a Belini.

Sweet Sunday

Sunday

{Farmer's Market}

{Kale Smoothie}

{Father's Day Dinner Outfit}

Sunday is often my favorite day of the week. I enjoy it when it's relaxing and family focused. This past Sunday we celebrated Father's Day with a morning visit to the Farmer's Market. I love sampling all the fresh fruit and picking out beautiful flowers for the week. I tried a kale smoothie that was pretty delicious (but I like mine better). That night we braved the sweltering heat so we could grub on a tasty hamburgers with sweet potato fries. Overall a pretty sweet Sunday.

Keepin' It Real

Jacket-old Abercrombie & Fitch, Dress-J. Crew, Shoes-Forever 21, Clutch-c/o Curly In The City, Necklace-J. Crew (seen here and here), Bracelet-Forever 21, Sunglasses-c/o Hallelu

You may have noticed during the last few weeks that my style has been very laid back. That's because I'm "keepin' it real" with everything from my hair, makeup, and wardrobe. With the CrossFit Regionals, a quick getaway, and the launch of Glitter Guide, I've had no time to fuss. I leave my wild wavy hair alone and throw on my summer outfit: a striped dress, sandals, bold jewelry, and a light weight jacket (for those breezy evenings}.

Chloe Resort 2012

Chloe and Stella McCartney are my two favorite fashion houses. Chloe's Resort 2012 has a beautiful Parisian flair full of wide leg pants, airy dresses, chic suits and stunning sequins. What attracts me to both Stella and Chloe is their ability to mix feminine and masculine with ease. I prefer to wear clothes that have a strong and soft quality to them and Chloe nailed that perfectly.
