Glitter Girl: Amanda

Amanda enjoys writing, reading sharing her favorite findings on her blog Guilty Pleasures. Amanda is a strong component of personal style. She believes there is a big difference between being trendy and being stylish, which every Glitter Girl understands perfectly. She recommends dressing in what makes you feel pretty – for her that includes sequin tops, yellow Hunter Wellies, camel trench coats and swallow print dresses. She can get through almost anything with a cup of coffee and can’t wait to start spreading glittery tidbits with all of you on Glitter Guide.

"..A Glitter Girl is never afraid to wear bold prints, she is never afraid to wear bold prints, knows that her best accessory is a colorful lip, always wears something she is comfortable in (including jeggings), does't let a little thing like snow get her down, never leaves the house without a smile on her face, understanding that sometimes the sexiest hair can be a basic ponytail, being a minimalist and artist at the same time, and knowing that there is no set definition of style.

Giving you the resources to embrace your own style is what we glitter girls are all about -- helping you discover the everyday things in your life to make you sparkle!
I am so looking forward to the launch of Glitter Guide (as should you), but in the meantime, embrace the things that make you, you!" -Amanda

I have to say that using examples such as camel trench coats, hunter wellies, and bird print dressed to define style and not trend isn't the strongest argument. Add in an olive green grandpa cardigan, jeffrey campbells, and ankle socks and you've got you average, trendy, fashion bloggers wardrobe...
sorry to offend but I couldn't not make that comment.

SO many of the posts in my feed right now feature outfits that include something leopard print! I loveeee this sweater though, and how she has paired it with the dark rinse, almost raw looking denim.

I will definitely be checking out this chick's blog. Hugs & Fishes is just bitter for some reason. I was unaware camel trench coats were considered a trend and not a classic, but whatever...
