Last week was an amazing whirlwind in New York City. One of the highlights was attending the Lucky Magazine FABB conference. Lucky is my favorite fashion magazine. I have been a subscriber since college and have been fortunate to appear in it multiple times. I admire how Lucky always features "real" women in the fashion, arts, makeup, hair, and now bloggers. They are true supporters of the blogging community and it was apparent at the conference that they plan to continue and grow their collaborations with bloggers. I was extremely impressed by the new editor-in-chief Brandon Holley. She was funny, kind and extremely down to earth. I have high hopes for what she will bring to my favorite magazine.

The conference went well for it being their first time. I loved the fun activities they had for us to do on the breaks. Joan Rivers was hilarious as expected and Tory Burch's new collection looked fabulous and she was cute as a button. Of course, my favorite part (aside from meeting all my friends) was seeing Jenna Lyons (my idol)! She was sweet, modest and totally inspiring. She empathized doing what you love and ignoring everything else and how success will come if your passionate about what you do. I couldn't agree more Jenna!
