My outfit: Tank and Pants-c/o Bella, Necklace- Ritz Cracker via Need Supply, Watch-Michael Kors, Shoes-Brooks

There is something so charming about Mill Valley. The town is full of quaint boutiques and restaurants, great wine tasting, and breathtaking hikes. My boyfriend and I love heading up there on the weekends (seen before here and here). We decided that we wanted to spend the day splurging on decadent treats, but not before we cut down our guilt with a long vigorous hike. Ring Mountain is our favorite for it's amazing views of the city. At the top of one side you can see all of the Richmond Bridge and on the other side a view of the Golden Gate. It is magical. I wore some incredible pieces from Bella. They were perfect for a hike and later for a stroll through the city. We could not wait to indulge in our favorite desserts. He can't resist an ice cream sundae and I'm crazy about *French Macarons. I even nibbled on some fudge. I'm so glad I did because it was the best I ever tasted!

*French Macarons are not made with gluten. These macarons are from Le Boulange in North Beach San Francisco

I didn't know macarons were gluten free! Amazing! I think gluten may be the culprit of some of my stomach woes.
Do you have any fitness tips for people who only have a short amount of time to work out? Like thirty minutes.

French Macaroons are the BEST. I have been flirting with the idea of making some at home, but I have yet to do so...

Nicole,

French Macarons aren't marketed as gluten free, but all the recipes I see use almond flour (which is gluten free). They are not healthy by any means, but for people on a GF diet it helps.

I would say if you have a short amount of time to work out to either try Crossfit since the work outs are usually short and intense or go for a quick run, but not a relaxed run. Include hills and sprints to get more out of shorter distances.

Thanks for the hike recommendations. I am always looking to change it up and I don't head north enough. Now I know exactly where to go.

Cute outfit too!

My bestie just moved to Larkspur! Not too far at all from Mill Valley! I'll have to let her know about all the great hikes around there. When I visited SF last month, she took me to that Golden Gate Bridge recreational area where you can climb that hill and overlook the city. We did it at night and it was amazing!

I live in Mill Valley! It's such an underrated place since no one seems to know about it but good for you! I loved growing up in it and I live close to downtown so I walk into towns and eat at one of the many restaurants on the weekends
