Weekend Getaway: Mill Valley

 This last weekend we had planned to drive down to Santa Barbara and spend a few days laying by the beach and wine tasting. However, we opted for a more affordable mini vacation and headed to Mill Valley instead. it was the perfect little getaway.

On one of our first dates ever we rode bikes from San Francisco to Tiburon. It was quite the journey. I remember we got lost and it took us a lot longer than expected. So, we treated ourselves to fried food and drinks. Now, whenever we are in town we stop by out of tradition.

You have seen this view before (here). However, the morning view was dreamy with the soft fog burning off and the quiet sounds of the water.

{coffee at Depot}

Emily recommended heading to Depot for a nice cup of coffee and people watching. Turns out it was actually great for dog watching. There were so many darling dogs hanging out in the morning sun.  

{hike up Ring Mountain}

As you know we love being active. So, we thought a hike up Ring Mountain would be the perfect way to burn off our breakfast and see the town. I loved the steep hills and the view of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. I even tried to run up a few hills.
