A Hint of Red

Jacket-gifted by LA Vintage, Dress-H&M, Shoes-Aldo, Clutch-H&M, Jewelry- H&M and Forever 21
I love the 1920s. When I turned 26 I had a 1920 themed birthday party. Most of my friends thought I was weird, but I just fell in love with the glamor of the era. Of course, I love anything that reminds me of the 20s, this dress was the perfect mix of glamor and comfort. I love any occasion to get gussied up and this last weekend we went to my girlfriend's birthday party. I was thrilled to receive this amazing vintage trench coat with red lining from LA Vintage. Now all I need are some Louboutins to go with it!
I have been spending a little too much lately. So, I am going to try to come up with some creative fresh takes on clothes that are in my closet. Plus, I have some fun posts I am working on for next week! I created a Facebook page. It is a work in progress. If you are on FB  check it out!
I am selling some of my goodies for a limited time HERE

I am a HUGE buff of classic times (I'm more of a 40's-60's gal myself) and I have to say this outfit is totally something Claudette Colbert would have worn... had she had your gorgeous blonde locks :)

Now where's your Gable??

I'm a 40s-50s gal but I have to tell ya, the 20s aren't far behind. The hair and make-up alone are divine. Not to mention all of the shimmery dresses that move like crazy. You look wonderful as always!

PS-My friend just opened a CrossFit gym in Pittsburgh. She kicks so much ass. So now, if you ever visit the Steel City (I know, I know...) you'll have a place to go!

I'm a HUGE fan of the '20s. That decade was so decadence, glitzy and glamorous. The Great Gatsby is one of my favorite books ever. Those women were so amazing, their clothes, their lifestyle! They walked tigers on the streets of Manhattan! You're so lucky you had a '20s themed birthday party!!!

Shame that you couldn't make it to the Divas at the Diva event yesterday! I hope I'll be able to run into you sometime :)

I'm also totally obsessed with the 20's. A couple of years ago for Halloween I dressed up as Louise Brooks--no one got it, but I had a damn good time in my sweeping satiny gown and fox fur!
