Over the weekend we took took Lucca out to her first Farmers' Market. She enjoyed seeing and smelling all the dogs, people, and yummy food! I also got to wear my favorite scarf by Denj (reminds me of a Proenza Schouler print). Check out all of her amazing scarfs and fun blog!

This Thanksgiving my sister, her husband, and my four nieces and nephews aren't going to join the rest of us. Which makes me a little sad--holidays are so much sweeter with little kids around. Regardless, I'm looking forward to a day of eating, relaxing, and basking in the excitement of our new engagement!

We're Engaged!

I'm so happy to announce that my boyfriend and I got engaged last Friday!! It was so romantic and I couldn't be more happy! The perfect start to the holidays. Let the planning begin. :)

The ring was designed by my fiancé and our friend who owns a non-profit diamond business: The Clarity Project. They source only fair trade diamonds and invest all profits into mining communities. It makes it even more special!

Little Lucca

Meet Lucca--the little munchkin we adopted a week ago who's been taking up all our time (in the best of ways!). She's been such a fun adventure already and we love spending every minute with her. We named her after Lucca, Italy (the hometown of my grandparents). This photo was taken after her first bath--she was such a trooper!

Refinery 29 & Neiman Marcus

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to work with Refinery 29 and Neiman Marcus on a shopping feature promoting Neiman Marcus--they now accept Visa and Mastercard (their goes my rent money!). I also worked with the amazing Michelle Drewes again (see some of our past shoots here and here). It was a blast!

I didn't want this last weekend to be over. We had fun celebration for my boyfriend's birthday in San Francisco and then adopted a new puppy from the Humane Society. She's already the little love of our lives (picture here). This week I may be a little removed from the blog world while I try to train her and get her acclimated to her new home. 

CARROTS 4th Birthday Celebration

Hey everyone! I'm excited to announce that I'm co-hosting an event at CARROTS boutique in San Francisco tomorrow from 6-8pm. I'm co-hosting with the lovely Caitlin Flemming of Sacramento Street, Erin of Apartment 34, and Samantha Rudd and Kendall Asmuth of Sequin Harvest. If you've never been before I highly recommend it. The owners are super stylish sisters Melissa and Catherine. Plus, CARROTS carries some of my favorite brands such as Alexander Wang and Current Elliott. I'm excited to mingle and shop with everyone!

Paleo Pumpkin Cookies

These may not be as pretty as regular pumpkin cookies but their taste makes up for what they lack in looks. I found this recipe from Multiply Delicious. She made hers with Paleo Pumpkin Ice Cream which I'm eager to try next. My only criticism is that they taste a little more like bananas than pumpkin. However, for a Paleo recipe they are pretty darn scrumptious.
