Jacket- vintage c/o LA Vintage (similar style), Top- J. Crew, Jeans-Gap, Boots- Aldo, Necklace- Banana Republic, Handbag- Rebecca Minkoff Mab Mini c/o Stefani Bags

This weekend was cold and gloomy again.  I realized that I hardly own any cold weather clothes after I spent fifteen minutes staring at my closet full of floral dresses. Luckily, I have my fabulous vintage leopard coat to keep me warm and I found these black riding boots hiding in the back of my closet. I've always been partial to spring outfits, but I'm ready to expand my horizons. I'm craving big chunky knits and cashmere. What are your favorite stores for a warm wardrobe?

You still look very chic for the cold weather! Especially in that gorgeous coat.
For winter, I'm a big fan of knits too. I tend to go to vintage stores for mine as they are often bigger and chunkier than those in normal stores.
Hope you've had a lovely weekend.

Great outfit.. I too am lacking in winter gear. You would think living in NY for 25 years would have taught me something.. But since moving to Florida I realized I don't own anything long sleeved. And today its in the 20's so I'll be layering!!

Wow I am in love with that coat! You look lovely. For winter I love layers, scarves, knits and oversized slouchy pieces.

It really depends on what my mood and budget is.
If you are looking for nice, but not too pricey Cashmere then I would recommend J.Crew, if you are looking at knits that won't break your budget I would go for H&M, and if you are looking for over the top amazing things with no regards for your budget I would look over at net-a-porter since e.g. Helmut Lang has some crazy cute and wonderful knits at the moment.
ps. adore your riding boots!!

What a cute outfit. Zara and J Crew have been my favorite stores so far this season. Zara has the chunky knits your are looking for and J Crew has the best cashmere.

In all honesty, I was quite the summer girl until I purchased my nine west boots. That changed my views on winter quite dramatically. I am still craving warmer temperatures, though, but am enjoying wearing my leather boots, scarves and warm coats while this weather lasts. xo

Thank you for your blog, it is one of my favourites.

Hi Annia,

Thank you. I just read a lot of design blogs, look through books and magazines and watch HGTV sometimes. My mom is a home stager on the side. I love looking through my old Domino mags or looking at Lonny and Rue online.

A great option is the Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Mini!!
It's got a similar satchel-like shape with the rocker attitude and is more affordable but still good quality.

You can find it on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250757752364&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_500wt_1139

The leather is so soft!! Such a classic, iconic bag with an attitude!!
Love it!!! (ipad)
