I love baking pretty and feminine desserts. However, my sister is the true pastry queen of our family. For years she's been creating delicious treats that not only taste great, but look fabulous. Recently she started Treat ur Sweet, an Etsy shop where she sells darling handmade cupcake pinwheels, toppers, and other cupcake accessories. I'm so proud of her for following her heart! I hope that one day I can bake as well as her.
We were both so inspired by this photo that we decided to create our own version to promote her store and blog. We already had an obscene amount of girlie baking accessories and supplies--plus my quaint kitchen was the perfect backdrop. What we didn't have was adequate lighting. We literally were taking photos in the dark (Photoshop to the rescue)! We can't wait to do it again!
