Last but not least buy her some sparkling wine to sip on while she cooks.

Love the apron, measuring cups, and tray! Remember, if you're giving kitchen gifts at Christmas visit the kitchen of the recipient so you know their colour scheme... a glam domestic goddess in training will likely be trying to work one!

I'm inspired by you to be a little better in the kitchen! I just wanted to tell you about this hilarious novel by Sophie Kinsella, author of the Shopaholic series. The novel is called The Undomestic Goddess. I thought you might enjoy the heroine's quest to becoming better in the kitchen/home as well!

Btw: I love your blog. It's one of the first blogs I came across which totally inspired me to start my own. I hope mine can become just as interesting, useful and sincere as yours.

That's a cute apron! I get so intimidated when bloggers do posts about cooking and food :( I tried to make jello shots for a party and couldn't even get that right! Oh well, might as well look cute while I'm burning stuff...

Ashley,

I looooove that book! I read the entire thing on a round trip flight from Virgina and was totally captivated. I felt so connected to that. I have never been considered domestic. This is my first year of where I actually enjoy cooking, cleaning, and taking care of things. People may think it's boring, but I still love fashion and glamour. I want it all!

Thanks!

I love Jessie Steele! I have 3 of her aprons. My favorite one is covered in holly (for Christmas).

And that thermos is so cute. I posted that in my "very Kate Spade Christmas" post.

This section is so me...lol, I'm the ruler of the kitchen. I love to cook, try new recipes, make my own recipes, everything! But of course I'm still the goddess when it comes to fashion.
