Christmas is my favorite holiday. As a young child, like most of you, I counted down the days then the hours and minutes till Christmas morning. I would stay awake hoping to hear Santa's reindeer frolicking on our roof. Now I love the holiday for bringing our family together and the joy it brings my nieces and nephews when they open presents! This is the first year my boyfriend and I are celebrating in our own home. We've decorated and have presents under our tiny tree. It's so cozy we end up staying in most nights cuddled up watching movies, but that's just the way I like it.

I will be posting this week until Christmas Eve and then will be back on schedule by next Monday. I hope you all have a fabulous holiday week.

I love that skirt! I've been looking for a sequined skirt for Christmas and everyone tells me to go to J Crew. I totally need it!

And I love that you live in a cottage. All the love and work you put into it has paid off.

sounding a bit like a broken record here, but i love everything about this outfit, but if you held me over an open fire and demanded i tell you my favorite part i would have to squirm uncomfortably a little bit until i got too toasty hot and then i'd say the shoes. the shoes!!! i love them!!!
-brittney
p.s. i started a little fashion blog of my own; our styles are totally different, but i'd love it if you stopped by sometime anyway. just because it would be fun and new and an adventure. and because this comment is now so long that you're kind of curious, aren't you. maybe just a little bit? no? drat.
