Perfect Makeup in Five Minutes

I wake up super early for work and the last thing I want is to spend an hour getting ready. At the same time I don't want to head into the office looking haggard. So I use a few easy steps to look fresh in a hurry:

1.  Before you apply your make up start with a moisturized face. I like Anastasia Beverly Hills Nourishing Antioxidant Eye Cream and Chanel Beautie Initiale.
2. Apply a tinted moisturizer using a foundation brush and lightly stroke upwards and out on cheeks and a little on your t-zone.
3. Add a light layer of concealer to red spots and dark circles. I like Smash Box Camera Ready #3-the peach tones help with my dark circles.
4. Apply blush to your cheeks and bronzer to your t-zone.
5. Apply mascara and slide on a coat of your favorite lipstick.

If you have extra time do your eyebrows, it helps define your look. I have been trying to grow mine out for two years and have finally come to grips with the fact that they will never be as thick as they once were. Luckily, Anastasia Beverly Hills sent me a bunch of amazing products that have seriously made a difference with my brows. The Brow DualityThe Brow Pen, The Beauty Express, and my favorite, The Brow Wiz -fill them in and brush them up and you're done!

Doll, these tips are absolutely GENIUS. I constantly drag myself out of bed five minutes later than I should and I'm all about the five-minute-makeup -- concealer, translucent powder, blush, mascara, and a little strawberry lip balm as I roll out the door. So simple but fresh-looking.

Great tips!
I really try, but some days I have to give my face a break and that is where the moisturizer is just perfect, it evens out the skin and makes you look fresh any day.

Love the tips Taylor! And the brushes in a mason jar. I keep mine in an Anthro cup [similar idea]. Happy Friday!

Thanks for the tips, I always think everyday make up should be done in minimal time and look clean and simple. That way, when you try something more adventurous it's always noticed!

Have a lovely weekend.

I am also a fan of Anastasia brow products - I never neglect my brows - I always try to brush them and fill them in - for me that completes my look. As fas my makeup routine in the morning it is as quick as it gets and performed at red lights and traffic jams while I am driving to work. I don't even have 5 min at home - trying to get myself and 2 little kids ready is not an easy task when everyone is a sleepy head.

Have a great weekend!

Rali

Keep it quick and keep it simple! Often when you spend too much time in the mirror is when it looks like you've spent too much time in the mirror! It's really all about great skin care and enhancing the fact that you take care of yourself! That's my motto! Love these tips!

Oooh, these are great. I'm always such a slave to my usual routine, but I should really think more about moisturizer and concealer, instead of just SPF and mascara -- it does make a big difference!
