Vanilla Meringue Cookies

After a long stressful day I find baking something light and easy to be very relaxing. Even though this was the first time I tried meringues they were super easy and are made with ingredients that are likely in your cupboard already. I decided too add some feminine flair with a few pink sprinkles, but you can add shaved nuts, cinnamon, you name it. These sweet puffs are so airy and light and make the perfect party favor. I can't wait to bring them to our next dinner party served with homemade chocolate ice cream.

I ADORE meringues - yours look wonderful! If you haven't already, you should try pavlova next - like a giant meringe, with a marshmallowey centre, mmm :)

I made meringues at the the beginning of Summer and devoured them. The best meringues I have ever had though are in one of my favorite towns in Switzerland. When I visit next June I will pick you up some ... you will love them. Yours are so cute and I love how you used pink sprinkles!!! Cheers my friend and lets get together for some yoga soon!!

Thanks everyone. These turned out pretty cute. I think I may be getting a little better at baking.

Marcie- I learned that using a background helps, adding pretty flairs, and using the right lighting really helps. Thanks!

Caroline- You are so sweet! I am sure those are awesome! Yes, let's do yoga soon. It has been so long for me. xo
