Almond Butter Blondies

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Brownies are one my favorite indulgences. I love the soft gooey chocolate mixed with crispy cake textures. But, blondes have more fun, right? Since, I am trying to be experiment with cooking more gluten free recipes I decided to try this easy and scrumptious dessert. Don't be fooled by this healthier option, it is still a dessert and it is one you can easily rationalize eating just one more bite (I had box them up for friends to keep myself from eating the entire batch).

If you are looking to try gluten free there are a great dessert to try. They are made with almond butter, agave nectar, eggs, and semi sweet chocolate chips (or dark chocolate chips). I used this recipe, but don't fret about buying expensive salts or almond butter- the cheaper ones worked perfectly for me. You could even make your own almond butter.

So, grab a tall glass of milk and sink your teeth in.

This has become one of my favorite recipes to bake. Its a huge hit with my whole family and I love how there is no flour used at all. Ive also baked it for my roomates and they love it too, the flavor is so unique and it does not make me bloated or uncomfortable like normal brownies.
