Urban Outfitters silk top, Forever 21 skirt, tights, necklace, ring, and shoes, vintage clutch
When couples move in together it can be hard with the pressures of everyday life to focus on one another. So, like many other couples my boyfriend and I created a date night. Yesterday, we went to see Alice and Wonderland. I grew up fascinated with Alice, her pretty coiffed blond hair and girlie wardrobe. I kind of related to her and felt like I was living in my own kind of wonderland. Now, that I am older I still carry that around with me sometimes. I often drift off in to a day dream and get lost in it.
This outfit is my own"Alice" outfit. It has somewhat of a dreamy whimsical feel to it. I love this skirt, I feel like a ballerina. There aren't a lot of opportunities to wear it, but I don't care. We took these out by our cottage and on this run down tennis court from the 1920s. I find myself looking out our window and day dreaming about the couples who use to rent these in the 1920s on vacation from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco. I can see them in their flapper outfits drinking lemonade and playing a game of tennis.
