The Tantalizing Turban

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I am a big fan of the turban. Ever since Prada Spring 2007 rocked the silk turban and made it a style sensation. The turban is the perfect accessory for bad hair days and a long relaxing afternoon at the beach. I don't have a favorite style of turban. I love them all (scars, head piece, headband, etc..) anything that is "turban-esque" is good in my book! I will definitely be wearing mine this spring and summer. I recently bought this Free People one in emerald. Here are all the images taking up space on my laptop!

I love these examples and I think everyone looks so beautiful. I don't think I would actually wear it to go to the shop but it would be perfect for the beach look.

ooh I love it! I actually wore my hair in a scarf the other day, but I wouldn't know the mechanics of twisting it into a turban like that

you know, i was not a huge fan of the turban, i had a feeling it was somehow politically incorrect...haha, but these pictures you found are fabulous!

i would definitly rock the more subtle ones, like the one seen on mary kate or the bright red one with florals. i think in this case, the subtle is beautiful. :)

My mother wore a turban with her wedding dress instead of a veil, I use to put it on and play dress-up as a child all the time. :)

All these images are stunning!

I wish that I knew how to create a turban from a scarf, but I can't figure it out! I just adore them, I might have to surrender my pride and buy one as is!

A great accessory for bad hair days...

I love the first one. It's more of a headband than a turban. The full turbans I just can't pull off!
