Cobblestone Alley

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
H&M jacket, top and really old skirt & glasses, Nine West heels, Club Monaco clutch, Cupcakes and Cashmere pendant, Free People & Forever 21 ring
How is it that I buy clothes all the time and yet I never have anything to wear?! There are some days when I hate my clothes, but you have to work with what you got. When I am in one of those moods I grab my nearest fashion magazine and find a look or an item that I think I can replicate from my closet. Since the intimates as outerwear are in I decided to work around this bustier top from H&M. I have been wearing a lot of skirts and I found this old high-waist skirt and wanted to see how the sheer color looked with this pop of the colors in my top. I went with a short leather jacket, but I would also have worn a really long knit sweater if I had the right color.

I have always been a bag girl, but I have found myself turning into more of a shoe girl lately. You can never have enough shoes! I soon will be the proud owner of clogs, over the knee boots, and I hope to get some wedges and platforms too! I just hope my pocket book can keep up!

Some of you have asked about personal style. I have to tell you that personal style is all about what makes you happy. It about discovering yourself and it is about trying new things. Sometimes it may not "work" for you, but that is how you can start to learn more about your own personal style. Like I have said before, mine tends to be pretty eclectic. One morning I may want to look classic and the next I may want to be bohemian. It is all about your mood and inspiration. It makes getting dressed fun!

lovin the floral bustier and the wavy hair, great look!

I completely agree with what you say about personal style.

I think even sometimes that fashion bloggers can influence their readers on what they thing is appropriate and what THEY thing is "style". But when it all comes down to it it's about the individual and what THEY feel best expresses who they are.

I will definitely let you know ahead of time, probably give you a two-three week notice in advance! Does it cost a lot for you to come up to San Francisco? Do you drive or take public transportation? We'll figure it out. Do you know/have you met THE SF STYLE, calivintage and darling darling? Have you met any Bay Area bloggers?

I do like this outfit. Very feminine and the photos are so pretty. Your nude pumpa are killer.

This outfit is perfection. I love the pop of colors in the bustier, ring, and bag. I like the idea of wearing a bustier and the success of your outfit here has made me think I might be able to pull of the bustier trend.

I love your heels, and I agree with Heather I love the setting of these photos... it looks very familiar :)!! I feel the same way that sometimes I really feel I have nothing to wear... but then I find a scarf, or a necklace and they always add some oomph to my wardrobe. Wishing you a lovely day!! XO
