For my second attempt at "The Trend Trials" I decided to test the popular cut-off jean shorts and tights. This trend can be seen all over the fashion blogger world. I have been curious to try it. I wondered if this is something that suited my style. I think I would definitely swap out my Aldo ankle booties for some Doc Martens or more combat boot style. These shoes look too cute for this outfit, in my humble opinion. However, overall I actually enjoyed this look and felt pretty comfortable in it.

as for me, i'd really wear this trend. black opaque tights under cutoff shorts is definitely a great style to buy! :)

i really like the trend. been meaning to try it. I love that blazer, I saw it in zara and it was quite hard not to buy it! I think I've told you a million times but I love your style!!
No and for 2 reasons;
1. I don't have any shorts...I have one pair and they are to my knees.
2. My legs are too cheesy

I almost bought this blazer from Zara last week...instead I bought the blazers they have with the elbow patches!
I also tried the shorts and tights trend but wished I wore sheer printed tights instead of opaque... nice bag :) Mon Mode Blog

I'm really loving the shorts on you but I agree that shoes with a little more toughness might be more suitable. However, I hadn't thought of wearing that Zara jacket (which I also own) with my denim cut-offs but you bet I will be trying it next weekend!
