Urban Outfitters jacket, Shop Nasty Gal faux fur vest and top, Aldo boots
My style is always evolving and changing. I don't tend to stick to one thing (as I have mentioned before). I have a girlie boho side and a boyish rocker side and then things in between. I think I gravitate towards feminine with an edge. In middle school I was very boyish. I would not wear anything that wasn't from a thrift store and my uniform was men's polyester pants and old t-shirts with my high top vans. I dyed my hair red and cut it like Anglea from My So-Called Life . For my middle school graduation I wore a vintage kimono dress in neon orange, yellow and green with neon yellow fish nets and black combat boots (I will see if I can get the pictures up).
In high school I played sports and I liked to hang out with the skaters. I considered wearing a thrift skirt and boots dressing up. However, somewhere my junior year I decided I wanted to express my girlie side more. I loved fashion and make-up. It wasn't like I didn't play with barbies when I was young. I liked being a girl! I just always felt too cool to dress like a girl. I thought my skater friends would laugh and say I was trying too hard. Turns out they didn't laugh and they all liked it. So, long story short my style has morphed into into a mixture of things and that's just fine with me.

It looks like you always had style! I failed in the style department when I was younger. So I cannot share my old photos unless to show how stark a contrast it is to my look right now.
You rocked that kimono out! I think style evolution is such an interesting thing. Am I going to look back on my fashion blog one day and die with laughter?
