A Year In Review: 2011

2011 has been a really big year for me. It's one that I will remember for the rest of my life. I think of it as a year of new beginnings. I launched Glitter Guide after a year of planning, got a puppy, and the topper, I got engaged! I feel very grateful for all the amazing opportunities and people I met this year. I'm really looking forward to 2012. Thank you for always being so supportive of me. I appreciate you and wish you all the best in the new year.

Jill Stuart Dress

I've been drooling over this Jill Stuart dress for months! Now, thanks to the amazing Ali of Charm & Chain I get to borrow it! I was in shock when she said she would send it to me to wear for a while (how sweet is she?!). Currently, it's on display in my house but I can't wait to slip it on this weekend!

I've been wearing this Zara sweater non-stop. Not only because it's pretty but because I apparently don't own enough sweaters for this time of year. Each winter I tell myself I'm going to stock up on sweaters and end up buying dresses instead. Maybe one year I will learn but until then I plan to wear this sweater on repeat.

I'm sure you noticed Sterling Style's new look! I owe it all to the amazing Melissa! I'd been struggling to achieve a simple but sleek design for a while and Melissa knew exactly what to do. It was such an easy and enjoyable process with her. My favorite part is her calligraphy header. It's unique to her and gave me the look I was dreaming of.

During the brisk winter afternoons I like to cozy up in big oversized clothes. My Zara poncho and Gap boyfriend jeans are in heavy rotation. Plus, the poncho is great for bundling up little Lucca when she gets cold.

This weekend we headed to the Central Coast to visit our friends and family. Hanging out in this area is such a blast because we both went to the same local college at the same time (ironically we didn't know each other). We did all of our favorite local activities like: BBQ at Firestones, wine tasting, and exploring new areas. 

During the winter my skin gets super dry. So, my new Rodin face oil and cream were with me all weekend (obsessed)! Also, I came home to a new sparkly dress that is perfect for holiday cocktail parties!
