The Unexpected Tourists

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

A few weekends ago we decided to head over to Capitola for a nice day in the sun. Unfortunately, on Sunday it was overcast and cold and kept us from enjoying our much anticipated beach time. Instead of heading home we decided to act like tourists and explore some of our favorite spots. Even in the gloomy weather are days were brightened by the beauty of a historic wharf, colorful beach houses and yummy salt water taffy.

I love the idea of pretending to be a tourist in places you already know. I bet you still found new stuff to look at.

As for common questions:

1. Why did you start your blog?

2. What's the best way to attract traffic to a blog?

3. Who is your favorite designer/clothing store?

Unknown said...

LOVE this! I love the casual outfit and now I'm convinced I need a similar jacket. It looks so good on you!

For those who asked- my hair was had been colored the day before we shot these. I hate hoe it already looks different. Don't you wish that bold color would last!

As for what I tell my stylist- I ask her for the more platinum versus yellow blonde. I like the pretty soft white blonde hair, but I also like my own natural dirty blonde to show through and she does not color my bottom. So- it is a partial hair color.

Also, my bf dresses himself, but I like to buy him things. :)

Love this! I'm originally from Santa Cruz (now transplanted in Campbell, CA) but Capitola is my favorite little spot. Especially when the sun is setting and you can hike up to the top of the cliff and watch the sky turn colors. Such good memories! Glad you go to enjoy it :)
