Creamsicle

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Abercrombie and Fitch sweater, BCBG dress, Forever 21 boots and rings,
Vintage watch & necklace, thrift store belt

Every girl loves a bargain and I am no exception! I recently found my way into my old stomping grounds Abercrombie and Fitch. I saw this sweater calling my name. Luckily it only cost me $10! Since the sun has been out more I thought I would test it out (with and without a belt). I paired it with another one of my great bargain finds- this BCBG sequin slip dress (seen here). I mean who am I to deny these reasonable priced items a new home in my closet?

Casual & Chloe

Abercombie and Fitch cargo jacket, vintage top,  Forever 21 shorts, Steve Madden boots and Michal Kors watch

Well, my friends the rain has finally let up and the sun is shining. I typically like the little spurts of rain we get here in Nor Cal, but after about two weeks of non-stop rain I am ready for some fun in the sun. However, it isn't exactly warm yet. This outfit is something that I love to wear on a daily basis. It is easy and comfortable.I have been wanting these boots for a long time, but was convinced by one of my favorite bloggers Dylana from Nana in Wonderland to buy them. She rocks them like a pro! I was playing around on Shopbop the other day and trying to decide if I was "girlie", "classic", "casual", "edgy" or "boho". This is extremely hard for me since I feel like dressing like all of them on different days and according to different moods. My boyfriend looked at it and said his favorite was "girlie" (typical) and that I dress most like "casual". I was surprised and said really I think most often I am "girlie with a touch of classic and boho mixed together" (don't think that is how it works). Turns out that I am a little bit of all of them, but I have to give me boyfriend some credit. When I looked at today's outfit I thought, "causal all the way baby"!

So, I am trying to prepare for a new chapter of my life. My boyfriend and I are planning to move in together. I moved back home with my parents for a while and have been trying to decide if I was going to get my own place or live with him. We decided a few months ago that we would love to live together. However, we are doing it right. We are waiting to find the right place and the right cost. So, I am on a spending freeze. Of course, I have all of these things that keep popping up. For example, New York in February would be amazing, a new camera is a must, and I just spent $400 on tires and an oil change (buzz kill). So, I may have to be creative with my outfit posts soon and have a few less of them until I am settled.

With moving on the brain I have been compiling a billion inspirational images on my desktop. So, many that it is like a fun game trying to find the image I am looking for. As, many of you know I have a girl crush on Chloe Sevigny (see example here) and would like to have many of things related to her and her amazingness. I want her closet, the clothes she wears, her shoes, her kitchen and the clothes she designs. Here are some images that I am inspired by for my new place and things to go in my new closet.

Gray Skies and Pretty Bows

Zara blazer, Rodarte for Target top, Urban Outfitters skirt and shoes, Coverings watch, Vintage purse and necklace
I hope that the rain dies down soon and I can resume a normal life. I love California because even in the rain I can wear my favorite skirts and no tights and not die of hypothermia. I couldn't resist trying my own version of  that Parisian preppy look that I was inspired by even though it isn't Spring yet. I love my new white shoes from Urban Outfitters. They are so easy and comfortable. They are perfect for a day of light errands and lunch!
