I have been eager to do more features of my favorite fashion bloggers on Sterling Style for a while. I had the honor of featuring Couture Carrie a few months ago and now I am thrilled to be spotlighting Liz from Late Afternoon. Every day I am excited to head over to Liz's blog to see what fabulous ensemble she has put together. She is a Bay Area fashion blogger from San Francisco and her style is uniquely her own. Liz deserves to become the next "It Girl" in fashion. Check out her modeling for Nasty Gal here.
1. What was the inspiration for starting Late Afternoon?
I needed a creative outlet and it look the form of a personal style blog
2. How would you describe your personal style?
I would call my style effortless chic.
3. Who are your style icons?
Grace Cottington for the amazing work she does for Vogue and YSL for his ability to make women look like works of art.
4. How do you think Bay Area fashion differs from other areas?
It's very grungy, laid-back and hipster oriented. Which is actually very "in" right now anyways.
5. What era do you most identify with? 60's, 70's, etc?
Right now it's the 70's but this changes almost daily.
6. What are some of your favorite San Francisco shopping destinations?
Thrifttown and the Goodwill on Haight for vintage, Marc by Marc Jaocbs store on Fillmore for their $5 and $10 bins.
7. What's your vice? Handbags, shoes, jewelry?
Clothing is my main vice, followed by shoes and jewelry.
Please, stop by her blog if you haven't already!

Cool feature, theres so many brilliant bloggers out there?!
Sorry, im not sure if i answered your question from one of my earlier posts, i just use iphoto to edit some photos and photoshop for some others. I like to change the black point to magenta using the selective colour tool and also smart sharpen. Sometimes i use a filter or adjust the curves... so many ways!
If i dont get into photography eventually hopefully i can be a digital assistant.
Thanks so much for all your comments on my blog, they are so generous.
I appreciate your support.
