Paleo Pumpkin Cookies

Things

These may not be as pretty as regular pumpkin cookies but their taste makes up for what they lack in looks. I found this recipe from Multiply Delicious. She made hers with Paleo Pumpkin Ice Cream which I'm eager to try next. My only criticism is that they taste a little more like bananas than pumpkin. However, for a Paleo recipe they are pretty darn scrumptious.

I'm always on the look-out for recipes that aren't supper fatty and this looks like my next baked good that I will be trying out! I love how there isn't any butter. Healthy and delicious? I'll take it!

Those look awesome!! We definitely don't use pumpkin as much in NZ as you do in America. It's actually only used in soup or roast dishes. I love the idea of using it in cookies, pies etc. ♥

Pumpkin is my favorite flavor, and I look forward to this time of year just for all of the pumpkin-themed dessert.

I'm on the Paleo Diet, too, and honestly, I find that recipes like this make it really easy to stay on-plan. I make a carrot banana muffin that is so moist and tasty that my fiance likes them more than "regular" muffins!

I'm a new reader, and a definitely a new fan! Great blog :)

Those look so good! Definitely going to make them this week. I am allergic to wheat and dairy - which is ten times harder living in Paris! I miss the convenience of Whole Foods and all their options for me, but these may do the trick for a bit. I had never heard of this diet, but I am going to look into it now, if only for the gluten/dairy free recipes! Thanks!
