Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

I'm a smoothie addict. Actually, I'm a healthy smoothie addict. I'm always on the hunt for new and creative recipes that aren't totally bad for me and still taste great. I recently asked Crystalin to try out a few smoothie recipes for Glitter Guide. One of her finds was a chocolate and peanut butter smoothie that tastes like it could be decadent but is actually guilt free! It didn't disappoint. I'll definitely be adding this one to my list of favorite late night teats.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie:
2 Tbl unsweetened cocoa powder
2 Tbl peanut butter (I used Whole Foods Organic Creamy)
½ banana
1 cup almond milk (I used unsweetened)
splash of vanilla extract
ice (the more you use the thicker it will be)

Blend, serve, enjoy!

This looks so good! I am going to try it out today because I have all these ingredients. I, too, am looking for different smoothies. Currently I am in a blueberry and banana smoothie kick, but I will most definitely try this one today! Looks delicious! Thanks for sharing!

Take care!

Jebus! That looks good! Hard to believe it is guilt free!

I like to mix sugar free hot chocolate power in with light Ricotta cheese. It is absolutely amazing and relatively guilt free ; )

i've been meaning to get some cocoa powder...this is basically my staple pb & banana smoothie i always make...tastes like dessert!

have you tried natural peanut butter? The whole foods and any of those kinds have added sugar and fat and natural just has the peanuts!

That sounds soo delicioius!

Whenever I have bananas that are turning brown, I freeze them and use them in smoothies so I don't have to use as much ice.

Maybe I'll have to treat myself to one today (;
