The never ending rain this weekend made me want to stay cuddled in my pajamas and watch old Woody Allen movies, but I had to resist the temptation and brave the wet weather. When I'm getting dressed I usually ask myself, "What am I feeling inspired by today?" Often the answer is Jenna Lyons. I know I'm not alone in my admiration of Jenna's style, we all seem to be captivated by her. It's refreshing to be inspired by a woman who is wildly successful, talented, creative and has a family. I'm particularly interested in how she mixes masculine and feminine pieces together.

The rain was hardcore. I made the mistake on Saturday of wearing my Weitzman's and a very thin vintage shirt when it was nice and sunny. The weather quickly turned on me and I had to purchase a sweater while out! Next time I'll check the weather forecast!
