Sweet Baby Doll

They say that little girls are made from sugar, spice, and everything nice--while I hardly agree with this cute old fashioned characterization, I do enjoy dressing sweet. I haven't always had such feminine style. In high school my uniform was Dickie pants, thift t-shirts, and Vans high tops. Now, my style is a lot more girlie. My closet is full of dresses and anything sparkly. I also have a soft spot for a baby doll dress. This one from Modcloth was perfect for the holidays and gave me an excuse to pull out my spring platform Mary Janes.

I hope you all had a lovely holiday. Our family get together was great fun. It was apparent that my boyfriend and I have been really into cooking. Our gifts included an amazing new knife set, pots and pans, cook books, cooking classes, grill utensils, gourmet steaks, and even a Whole Foods gift card. Now we're cookin'!

    Your presents sound wonderful. Mine reflected my love for cooking too - I got an icecream maker and measuring spoons in the shape of nesting russian dolls ;)

    love the outfit! i went into forever 21 for the first time these holidays as i'm not from the US, & i found it hard to find anything decent, but those shoes are great! they look so miu miu!
