Jacket-H&M, Dress- BCBG, Shoes- Steve Madden, Clutch and necklace-vintage (seen here), bracelet-Forever 21

Being a women with curves is not always embraced in fashion. However, the fall 2010 collection from Louis Vuitton was one of my absolute favorites because it featured beautiful curvy women. It was full of classic 1940s pieces with pretty ample skirts and nip-waisted jackets. On a dinner date with my boyfriend this weekend I decided to create my own version. I went with a BCBG dress that has been in my closet for years. I've never been able to give it up. It is the kind of piece that no matter the season it always gets a compliment.

Simply beautiful. I love LV also. Ive picked up a few full long skirts this season- just based off all the ones they featured :) I LOVE that you threw in a brown clutch with this look. people need not be afraid to mix black and brown!

You have curves? youre joking right? girl you are skinny (compared to the average girl youre probably in the underweight catagory, although you look quite healthy), too skinny to have curves (i dont mean that offencively or to upset you or anyone in any way), however i do like your look and i think this classic feminine is always in and should be embrased more.
all the best B x

This is a gorgeous look and although I don't agree with the term 'real women' to insinuate curves or the 'average' female body type is the benchmark for what's "real" or "normal", I love how curves are being celebrated! It brings back 50s glamour and Prada did an amazing job as well. Have you seen the latest editorial with Crystal Renn shot by Philip Riches for Avant Garde Magazine (November 2010)? She is unreal and looks totally fierce! More inspiration for us ladies with enviable curves ;)
