Business Casual

{Forever 21 sweater, Anthropologie top, H&Mamp; skirt, Urban Outfitters flats, Banana Republic pendant, Celebrity Silver ring}

There are a few things that can wreck havoc on my style; sleep deprivations and PMS. Now, I know these aren't things that should necessarily mess with my daily ensemble, but I care less and feel unattractive. That's when I stick to black, flats and wavy messy hair. Yesterday, was definitely one of those days. I have to try to stay pretty business professional and I tired to keep it classic while being casual enough to keep me comfortable. I found these ultra comfortable leopard print flats from Urban Outfitters  for $9 bucks the other day. I am so thrilled with the find. It's like wearing slippers to work.

What do you wear to work when you feel icky?

Usually, when I feel icky, I always wear black, but try to wear something that I really love and will make me feel better, like great jeans or black leather leggings, with flats and a gorgeous blazer!

How come you still look so gorgeous even when you're feeling icky! The flats are pretty:)

I would grab the easiest, most comfy clothes if I'm feeling crappy:P

A hugely oversized, shapeless, black dress with flats. Thankfully these days are pretty rare for me because I always end up wearing exactly the same thing.

PMSing or not, you look amazing. Love that skirt and $9 flats? Love.

You still look beautiful!

I do the same when I'm feeling "eh." I'll wear a comfortable jersey dress, simple jewelry and flats. And I'll bring along an oversize boyfriend cardigan to wear when I'm sitting at my desk - it's sort of like a comfort blanket!

You look great when you feel icky! Impressed! I wish I had that weather here in Norway. Today its really cold AND it rains. That does not motivate a great style. If I have a bad dressing day, I often choose jeans and a slouchy top to cover up a little. Maybe a scarf to go with it! Love your posts, keep them coming :)

Love the flats btw!

normally i try to dress up as much as possible when i don't feel well - full makeup, hair and my highest heels. i think that subliminally i makes me look more approachable :)

ok darling, if this is your PMS look I officially hate you. mine is so much worse. something I could not ever post for the world to see. you still look FAB here!! love the little flats. they look comfy but still make the outfit pop. and I am still in love with your wavy hair. you are so lucky that it does that! this is a great "thrown together" outfit. black always looks amazing on you, against the blonde hair! anyways, hope that you are feeling better and back to it today!

You look great! I have to say one of the best things about my job is I get to wear whatever I want, or I am being dressed by a stylist! Business casual would kill me.

Wish I could pull off a good feelin-icky look as well as you do! I have a giant sweater that I wear when I'm feeling icky...I can hide in it a little :)

Cardigans. I love them when I'm feeling stylish and fashionable; but when I'm feeling icky they are so comforting. You feel as if you can just wrap yourself up in one, and all of your cares and unattractive feelings virtually slip away.

Despite the fact that you felt icky here, you looked fabulous! Loving those leopard print ballerinas - I have a few pairs myself! :)

Totally agree on this- when I am PMSing/have my period, I think I look 20lbs bigger than I am and that everything looks bad! I still to black and slimming dresses!
