Working Girl

{Banana Republic dress and purse, vintage belt, Michael Kors heels}
Dressing for work can be a pain when you have only a few minutes to shower, get pretty and pack your lunch. So, I am making more of an effort to get my clothes together at night. I have to dress fairly conservative at my work, but I have learned how I can stretch the limits to make the outfits more my style. This outfit looked much better at the beginning of the day (taken last week) as you can see by my wrinkles. I took this ultra comfortable dress from Banana Republic and used my favorite vintage belt to give it some shape. As always, I love pairing feminine and masculine together. The leather jacket gives the outfit some extra style. Then I threw on some mega heels from Michael Kors.

How do you show your personal style at work?

I love this outfit!! The leather jacket with it is great and I love that belt. Your bag adds the right amount of color. Gorgeous!!

I work in the construction industry, so I am lucky that I can wear anything I want to work. It allows me to show my style in all sorts of ways. It is funny though because I am the only girl there that works into the office with stiletto heels on. ;)

love the outfit. everyday i try to dress the teacher role but still cute and of course comfy. its getting easier but sometimes i just want to wear a shorter skirt and heels but that just would not fly.

You look fabulous. Love that flash of the red via the purse! I find a way to work a piece of my personality into the mix at work-- even though I work at a conservative office!

you are looking so cute and chic as always! That jacket is fabulous, and I am dying over your vintage inspired belt. you are without a doubt one of the best styled at your work, I'm sure of it! You always have the best hair too! teach me your ways. it just always has that cool, wavy, tousled look to it that mine won't cooperate and do. I am horrible at getting ready on time in the mornings, so I absolutely do everything the night before. Sometimes I am an over achiever and try to get all my outfits together on sunday night! it helps a ton!

I connected to you through another blog.

The one you are wearing is fine for the office the blue one looks a little short and too flashy for business. Just my opinion. You have a great blog.
