I Love You No Matter What

{Forever 21 circa old, Target buffalo sandals, BP retro glasses, Tresje handbag}

I had to do a post about this dress. Do you ladies own anything that you know  is on the verge of UGLY? That is my relationship with this dress. I often refer to this dress as my ugly 70's wallpaper dress. However, I adore it. I definitely get some strange looks when I wear it and my boyfriend isn't so sure, but I don't care it warms the cockles of my heart! It transports me to my mother's youth and pictures of her with her long blonde hair wearing bell bottoms and crochet against this wallpaper. Plus, it is a wonderful dress to throw on to run errands in the warm California sun.

That's such a cute dress--perfect for the end of summer. Haha, I have a lot of things that my mom and/or my friends think are really tacky.

I love this dress! Who care what anyone thinks. If it makes you happy then that's all that matters. Plus you look great in it! I have a couple pairs of shoes that my friends think are just too hideous for words but I don't care. I love them because they appeal to me and make me happy.

By the way, thanks for checking out my blog and sending me some comment love!

I can say that about the majority of my shoes, but I don't like things that are TOO pretty, ya know!

I really like this dress and I think you wear it really well. I can see why others would think it's "ugly" but I think it's about how you wear it and style it. I think it looks great with the purse and your flat sandals.

P.S. Your pictures always look amazing cause of the lighting. I love how the light hits your face. It makes you glow :)

This dress is completely fabulous! I have been looking for a mini-dress with long sleeves just like this one.

I have a dress with a super high neckline and peter pan collar that no one I know likes... except for me and I LOVE it!

I have to ask, what camera do you use? And how do you get your lighting to look like that? I love how your pictures always seem to be bathed in extra sunshine. I love it!

Christen -- oh how I wish I had a SLR, but for now I have a digital cannon. I use picnik.com for editing and I play with the lighting. EASY :)

That dress does look like 70s wallpaper, but I love it anyway. In addition to your bag - love this look!

I actually don't own anything that I think of as ugly. A few cardigans that I wear to death, perhaps, but nothing else comes to mind. :)

Tay, I have this one top that has been described by a friend as "a top made by pieces of reject fabric from an Indian reservation"... hahaha I love it though. Pieces like this make a statement and that is always a good thing! xxooxx
